Do you want to gain more confidence in performing an initial assessment and hone your therapeutic eye? Do you wonder what truly matters in a structured examination and how to draw the right conclusions from your findings?
Then this in-person seminar is exactly right for you.
Together, we will examine two patients who are making themselves available specifically for this seminar. In a small group, we will go through the initial assessments step-by-step, discuss our observations, and exchange ideas about possible diagnoses and treatment approaches.
This way, you will gain valuable practical experience and can directly apply your knowledge.
During the seminar, you will learn to:
- confidently perform a structured initial assessment
- systematically evaluate the patient
- analyze gait and posture
- correctly interpret palpation findings
- jointly identify and discuss abnormalities
- practically apply various examination techniques
- derive therapy goals from the initial assessment
- become more confident in handling real patients
All examination steps will be performed together and discussed in detail. We will allow ample time for questions, discussions, and professional exchange within the group.
We will jointly discuss the present findings, compare them with the veterinary documents provided by the owners, and develop an appropriate treatment approach.
